HOME

At some time or other everyone goes through a crisis or tragedy in their lives, but no one expects to go through the shock and revulsion of their loved one, child, parent, sister or brother being murdered. It can happen to any one, of any age. There is no discrimination. Surviving the violent death of someone you love is an experience so terrible that it will change the way you feel about yourself and other people. You will need the long term help and support of friends and relatives. Everyone reacts differently; everyone finds their own way of coping.

SAMM Merseyside can help you organise your thoughts and to understand some of the emotions that will be overwhelming you. Our Aim and Objective is to support, advise and help all those affected by Homicide offering an all inclusive service that gives both emotional and practical help enabling you to rebuild your life.

You will be able to talk with our trained volunteers, all who have lost someone themselves through a Homicide, and therefore do understand what you are going through, and will help with the problems and concerns that you may encounter but most importantly support you through this pain and loss.
